Hello everyone! Wow, has it been forever since I’ve posted on this blog and I apologize for disappearing. I’m back with a healthy breakfast recipe for you all and it’s this yummy acai bowl that I’ve been obsessing and loving every morning. It’s packed with a whole bunch of nutritious ingredients that are great for your body such as Vitamin C’s, Omega 3’s, Calcium, Fiber, Protein and the list goes on! A healthy food that tastes great–that’s something to dig your spoon in first.

Recipe:

Acai smoothie ingredients:

1 cup of mixed frozen berries
1/2 cup of bananas
1 T of acai powder
1 T of chia seed
1 scoop of protein of choice
1/4 cup of milk of choice

Toppings: create your own but I typically add coconut, granola and any fruits of choice such as kiwi, bananas, berries. You can drizzle the bowl with honey, but since the bowl has a lot of natural sugars already, I opted out of that.

Put all ingredients in a blender and blend away! Then pour the content into a bowl and add your favorite toppings. It’s that simple and super easy. Takes about five minutes when you have all the ingredients on hand. Now, that’s a quick breakfast I could make every morning. Bon Appetite!
